When he told his mother he would be performing in a musical, her response was, “It’s about time you used that voice!” Michael Johnson grew up on a farm, and is now an accountant by day. His work does not prevent him from engaging in theater performance, however, and he has used his skills as a singer and performer both locally and abroad for a decade.

This is Xavier’s big debut as an actor. He thinks it’s alright for a “first gig,” especially since he gets to spend extra time with his mom and dad. Xavier was the first cast member to memorize all his lines.

Genesis Garner was born to perform. She sings, dances, and acts--a triple-threat actress in the making. Genesis has formerly taken the stage at TPAC’s Polk Theater with the competitive dance company, N2Motion. In 2011 she was featured as Tiger Lily in a local production of Peter Pan at Lakewood Theater.

This is Justice’s first production with Center Street Theatre Co. Justice’s character, Alejandro, shares his love for futbol and, like everyone in his family, is musically gifted, particularly as a drummer.

Hannah Duffy is the third “Yessenia.” While she enjoys the challenge of acting, it is the story and the message behind her that she most appreciates about performing in ALIEN. That, and performing alongside a group of great friends.

Luci is the daughter of Robert Muñoz. She is the oldest of five children. Her little sister in real life plays her little sister, Snoopy, in the play.

Jeff has performed with Center Street Theatre Co. for three consecutive seasons, as a lead in In the Dark, It All Comes Together in the End. Jeff’s high school theater career consisted of key roles in the Gift of the Magi and “Some American patriotic show.” He shares the stage with his little brother Nick Sherrod, who plays the role of Garrett.

Nick Sherrod first became involved in ALIEN when he was commissioned to carve 8 authentic 3-legged Irish stools for the prop department. When the role of Garrett opened up, he seemed a natural choice for the part. This is Nick’s first role with Center Street Theatre Co. He last performed as Santa Claus in his 7th grade school Christmas play.

Stephany Dailey was singing from the time she learned to talk. A gifted performer, she brings her sweet and soulful voice to the character of Rose. She studied vocal performance until the age of 12, and performed in drama productions through her local church all through her teenage years.

Jason’s first role with Center Street Theatre Co. was that of a cynical womanizer in Anonymous. Initially acting as Stage Manager for the ALIEN production, Carpenter was soon drawn into the story, and when the part of Fergus opened up, he jumped at the opportunity to be casted in a role. Of the part, Carpenter says, “I relate to Fergus in that I was once lost, without direction, but eager to do something.”

Matthew Parker works as a master plumber. This is his stage debut. He enjoys the opportunity to spend time with his friends, and has been deeply impacted by the message of ALIEN.
